Frosty the snowman [D]
[D]Frosty the Snowman was a [G] jolly happy [D] soul
With a [G] corncob pipe and a [D] button nose
And two [A] eyes made out of [D]coal
Frosty the Snowman was a [G] fairy tale they [D] say
He was [G] made of snow but the [D] children know
How he [A] came to life one [D] day.
There [G] must have been some [D] magic in that
[G] Old silk [A] hat they [D] found
For [A] when he placed it on his head
He [E7] began to dance [A] around
[D] Frosty the Snowman was [G] alive as he could [D]be
And the [G] children say he could [D] dance and play
Just the [A] same as you and [D] me
[D] Frosty the Snowman knew the [G] sun was hot that [D] day
So he [G] said "let's run, we'll have [D] lots of fun
Now [A] before I melt [D] away"
Down in the village with a [G]broomstick in his [D] hand,
Running [G] here and there all [D] around the square
Saying [A] "catch me if [D] you can!"
He [G] lead them down the [D] streets of town
Right [G] to a [A] traffic [D] cop
And he [A] only paused one moment when
He [E7] heard them holler [A] "STOP!"
For [D] Frosty the Snowman had to [G] hurry on his [[D] way
But he [G] waved goodbye saying [D] "don't you cry,
I'll be [A] back again some[D]day"
