It's got (G) eight cylinders; uses them all. (C) It's got overdrive, just won't stall.
[Verse 2]
With a (C) 4-barrel carb and a dual exhaust, With (F) 4.11 gears You can really get lost.
It's got (G) safety tubes, but I ain't scared. The (C) brakes are good, tires fair.
Pulled out (C) of San Pedro late one night, The (F) moon and the stars was shinin' bright.

My (G) foot was blue, like lead to the floor. That's all (C) there is and there ain't no more.
Now the (C) boys all thought I'd lost my sense, And (F) telephone poles looked like a picket fence.
They (G) said, "Slow down! I see spots! The (C) lines on the road just look like dots."
